Haiti benefit in Hotel Botánico Here in Tenerife the Hotel Botánico in Puerto de la Cruz is hosting a Benefit-Gala Dinner, proceeds going to relief and reconstruction work in Haiti following the devastating earthquake. The gala takes place on Friday January 29th, at 9pm in the Salón Gran Teide, and will feature live music, dancing, a tombola and many other surprises during the evening. Dinner is €95 per per person with the hotel also offering a special overnight rate of €170 per person which includes breakfast and a visit to the Oriental Spa garden. In Adeje on Sunday 7th February, there will be a massive fundraising event in aid of the victims of the disaster outside the municipal football stadium from 10am to 9pm organised by the Comunidad Hindu de Tenerife in association with the Adeje council with fifteen other cultures are also taking part. There will be a flea market, games, henna stalls, clothes stalls, food and drink, music and dance, bouncy castles and lots more for kids and adults to enjoy.
