Some of the groups become very professional indeed and play regularly in public and as part of the Canarian day celebrations, Bodegas Monje in El Sauzal have organised for various groups of parrandas to entertain diners in their restaurant, starting at lunchtime and continuing to nightfall. The entertainment is open to everyone, all you have to do is book your table and look forward to having a good time. A special menu has been created for the day with vegetable potage, leg of pork roast over a wood fire, rabbit in salmorejo sauce, wrinkled potatoes, gofio (ground toasted meal) spicy and herby mojo sauces etc. combined of course with the bodega’s own fine wines.
