Seeking to allow their passengers to continue travelling, despite the cloud of volcanic dust, the airline has announced the following strategy: 
* A specific SMS service will keep passengers informed regarding cancellations, delays and the replacement of flights by buses * Special plans are being made to create coordination centres for aircraft and road transport throughout * Agreements are being sought with European transport companies to enable Jet2.com to use hundreds of buses within a short time from the cancellation of flights * A plan is being created to get passengers home by air, land or sea in the case of flight cancellations In the meantime, Jet2.com advise that their passengers should make their mobile phone numbers available at the time of making flight reservations so that they can be kept informed, and advise checking the company website, www.jet2.com for updates regarding specific flights.
