News from the financial sectors in Spain and the Canary Islands
From December of this year Air Nostrum, Iberia’s leading regional airline, will operate a number of flights linking the peninsula with the Canary Islands.
Air Nostrum will begin operating services to the islands in December Santa Cruz - 22.09.2004
- For the moment the company has permission to operate 34 flights weekly (17 outward bound, 17 return), from Valencia, Málaga and Santiago de Compostela, to Tenerife North, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The fleet is made up of nineteen Fokker 50s, five ATR 72s and seven Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ), and the latter will be used for the island connections. The CRJ’s can carry between 50 and 72 passengers.
