 Daily news from the Canaries and the islands' biggest English language newspaper on-line Christmas on Tenerife Snow on Mount Teide At 3.718m above sea level Mount Teide is the highest mountain on the canary islands and in spain. El Teide is part of the national park Las Cañadas and belongs to the city of La Orotava. The public bus service TITSA runs a return service to the Teide from the holidfay areas of Las Americas and Puerto de la Cruz.
