The British Consul, Matthew Vickers, was in the congregation together with the representatives of local British and Canarian organisations with whom the Church has connections as well as local hoteliers - all present to welcome Father Mike and his wife, Sam. The next social event will be a Back to School Supper and Fun Evening to be held on September 23. Tickets at just €10 are available after the Sunday Sung Eucharist or from Jean Fountain-Wilson at 922 321164. The first Car Boot Sale of the season will be held on October 2.
