Skoda Fabia RS
The fastest ever Skoda Fabia has now arrived in the Canaries.
It’s the second sporty vehicle in the range and joins the Octavia RS. This new car has been developed taking into account the knowledge and experience gained by Skoda Motorsport with the Fabia S2000 and the result is a stylish, sporty vehicle which is fun to drive.

Tenerife - 12.08.2010 - The Fabia RS's sporty style can be found throughout the vehicle. The chassis is 15mm lower than the Fabia, it has a modified front spoiler, a rear spoiler and daytime LED running lights and curve illumination. The RS logo, which identifies Skoda's most sporty vehicles, can be found on the honeycomb-style front grille. The brake pads are painted red and clearly visible through the 17-inch aluminium wheels which are available in four different colours. The car also has tinted glass, a newly styled rear bumper and double stainless steel exhaust trims.

You can personalise the bodywork colour of your Fabia RS as there are various combinations to choose from, while the spoiler and the roof are available in black or white.

Inside, the car has exclusive RS sports seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, leather covered handbrake, stainless steel anti-slip pedals, climatic air conditioning, and a radio with CD and MP3 player with a multimedia MDI connection.

Safety equipment includes ABS, ESP, tyre pressure sensor and hill start assist. Within ESP is an innovative electronic anti-skid system called XDS which not only gives more precise steering but also the car handles more like a 4x4 than a front-wheel drive. There’s also a multi-function computer on board.

Optional equipment includes an electric glass sunroof, bi-zone climate control, Amundsen navigation system and rear parking sensor.

The Fabia RS is supplied with a 1.4-litre TSI engine which uses a turbo for high revolutions and a compressor for low revs and reaches 180hp, accelerating from zero to 100km/h in only 7.3 seconds. Its top speed is 224 km/h and it consumes only 6.4 litres per 100km with CO2 emissions of 148gm/km. This engine is complemented by the award winning seven speed DSG gearbox combining the virtues of an automatic and manual box, for which the optional steering column mounted paddles are recommended.

The Skoda Fabia RS is available in the Canaries in two versions: the Limo and the Combi, which is ideal for those wanting a sporty vehicle which is also useful for practical day to day family trips.

Recently presented at the Skoda dealers Cuatromoción in Santa Cruz, the Fabia RS is available from your nearest dealer priced from €16,490. For more information, visit www.skoda.es.
