 Reviews, recipes and news from the grapevine A novel idea Restaurant Café Biblioteca Food for thought indeed at the Restaurant ‘Café Biblioteca’, where you can enjoy a feast of literature in English, German or Spanish during your visit if you wish.  Café Biblioteca opened on the main road in La Camella last summer and we heard about this unusual venue from close friends who had been at a birthday party there the night before. They have a fabulous special offer for groups of ten or more, whether it be a family or company party, of a dish from each of the extensive list of courses for just €20 per head, guaranteed to leave you full of plumptiousness. This restaurant is definitely one to try for those who delight in something different and unique, but be aware that some of the most tempting dishes such as shoulder of lamb in red wine sauce with dried Iranian limes or duck in a creamy nut and pomegranate sauce, will take approximately two hours to prepare. Time for a few glasses of wine, a gentle natter, or a good read and ideal for singles, couples or groups. Take away specialities include Nan Pitch, an Iranian bread filled with meat or vegetables and a variety of sauces – you may never eat pizza again. They also offer a lunch menu daily for approximately €8 from 12 noon to 6 pm. The bodega has been selected mainly from Spain and the Canaries and there is a wonderful selection of cocktails, teas and coffees.
