 Beauty and fashion, health updates, pets, gadgets ESTA News off-stage The ESTA theatre group’s last two productions in March, The Fumed Oak, and The Angel Intrudes seem to have been well-received, and the casts, including several new members, certainly enjoyed themselves. The committee has already chosen the plays for the next production, which will be in November.  They have also been asked to perform at several secondary schools in June, playing to the sixth form students. The group’s first play-reading evening for some time took place recently, and was enjoyed by all, with a selection of short extracts from the plays of Nöel Coward, and a one-act play entitled Diary of a Fading Rose. To continue with ESTA’s aims of donating all proceeds to local charities, several committee members recently visited PROBOSCO in La Orotava to present a cheque for €1,000. They were extremely impressed with the work of this organisation, which is very dependant upon voluntary donations, and it is hoped to donate more to them in the future. A barbecue has been arranged for members and friends for the evening of June 17th, at the barbecue area in La Vera. The cost, including wine will be €5.
