 Beauty and fashion, health updates, pets, gadgets Festival The Party 2010 Akon to perform in Adeje Akon, the American singer of Senegalese origin, has chosen Tenerife for his only concert in Spain and will be performing at the football stadium in Adeje on August 12th. Akon, the author of one of the football anthems for the World Cup, Oh África, was nominated for four Grammys in 2008. He fuses hip-hop with soul and R&B and has had many top 20 hits, the current one being a duet with French DJ David Guetta, Sexy Bitch. He was invited by Michael Jackson to be a producer and guest artist in This Is It, and recorded Wanna Be Starting Something amongst others with Jackson. Akon is currently working with Lady GaGa and collaborated with Rihanna on her last disc.
