Leading the top team at Monkey Bar & Grill is Iñigo Almenara López, from Bilbao, who is head chef and chief executive of the venue, having joined the Monkey family in 2008, winning the Anzuelo de Oro 2009 naming him best shellfish chef in Spain for his Sashimi special, available by special request.

In charge of cocktails is top bartender Petar Grisev Marinov, an award winning barman who has learnt his trade with the Monkey Bar & Grill.  The third vital member of the trio is Luis Alcalde, the restaurant manager, a well known and highly respected figure in the restaurant trade in the island.

The Monkey Beach Club is a new concept in food and music, located in a tropical setting it is a café, restaurant and bar all in one. Right beside the sea in the heart of Las Américas, with oriental furniture, palm trees and a colourful display of wild plant life, enjoy the best views on terrific terraces, while exploring the tasty menu or sipping splendid cocktails.  Let the sounds help you chill out as you watch the sun go down.

Open all year around, the Monkey Beach Club offers a great events calendar.  This summer on Mondays and Wednesdays enjoy the guitar of Ignacio Fernández in Flamenco Chill Out. Thursdays are Brit nights, with Sintillate parties, direct from the UK and Marbella, 8pm to midnight.  Saturday it’s time for Love Sensation, a 12 hour party that starts at 6pm in the Monkey Beach Club and ends in Magic in Las Américas at 6am. Last but not least is the Fabulous Sundays at the Monkey Beach Club, the night that now defines what ‘going out’ means in Tenerife, with the best in live music, djs, Alfredo on drums, the Brazilian singer Rosye Brown, and much much more.
