11.03.2015 - The 32-year-old from Vecindario was detained after an investigation was launched by local Civil Guard officers after the victim contacted them to report that her photo and contact details had been included in suggestive Internet ads encouraging men to contact her for sex. The victim only realised that she was being advertised after receiving multiple calls and WhatsApp messages from interested clients.

Her ex-friend was identified as the source after detailed checks were made of the Internet address used to place the ads on a well-known site.

In addition to the criminal prosecution, she could face a costly civil suit for damages due to the harm caused to her victim’s reputation.
