Transfer market
Ayoze next to move?
Keeping up the traditional early-season speculation, football pundits are already touting Tenerife striker Ayoze as a likely departure to a bigger mainland club before too long.

line
09.11.2013 - The locally-born player has been just about the only shining light in an under-performing side and his impressive showings up front, especially in the first away win of the year at Ponferradina, look likely to attract interest in the winter transfer window, causing him to follow the route taken by so many of the best home-produced footballers in the Canaries.  Still considered very much a rough diamond in need of polishing, the chances are that a top flight club will take the risk and sign him either as a fringe player to oversee his development or - the option that would suit Tenerife best- allow him to stay here until the end of the season to gain more experience and, in the process, help Tenerife survive in their first year back in Division 2.
