Choosing the correct colours is vital; by blending colours together we can choose the correct shade and tone to match your skin tone and hair colour. Eyebrows should look natural and eyeliner can be as faint or powerful as you require by choosing colours that will enhance your natural eye colouring. Lips can be very natural, barely there or more dramatic.  Permanent make-up is a skin invasive procedure. Some discomfort may be felt on your first treatment, which will soon disappear. Some clients have experienced a slight feeling of pressure or a scratching or vibrating sensation and others have no discomfort at all. Each client’s pain threshold is different. Anaesthetic creams are used before any treatment and also during treatment to assure our clients’ comfort. A few clients have reported on having gone to sleep when having eyebrow treatments. Will there be any swelling? There will be a small amount of redness and swelling around the treated area but this will subside. Each client is different, but swelling goes down from six to 48 hours after treatment. How long does a treatment take? Treatment times can be expected to be around one to two hours depending on the procedure. Before treatment... Before any procedure commences, drawing on the correct shape is vital whether it is for lips, eyebrows or eyeliner. Once the client and the practitioner are happy with the shape we choose the correct colour for you. We are then ready for the procedure to begin. Top-up procedure Most procedures will require a second visit, this can be due to a few factors, a small amount of pigment may be ejected during the natural healing process. Anti-ageing creams, sunbeds and saunas can also affect pigments during the first few weeks of healing. Following the aftercare instructions is vital. The period of the first two weeks after the procedure is called the colour stabilisation time. Immediately after the treatment the colour will be darker. As the swelling subsides over one to two days the epidermal (outer) layer of skin will gradually fade or flake off as the new layer re-grows. Some colour will come off at this stage, allow for 30 to 50 per cent fading during this time. Over the weeks colour will soften, after around four to six weeks this will be healed, and then it can be determined whether a top-up treatment will be required. Services: Eyeliner and eyelash enhancement A fine, soft, natural line can be created to add depth and definition to your eyes. Your lashes will appear thicker and it will look as though you have more lashes. Colour and thickness can be applied for a more dramatic look. Eyebrows Your eyebrows are the framework of your face and when designed properly they will lift and open your eyes giving a more youthful appearance. Women whose eyebrows are sparse, blonde, light in colour, or alopecia sufferers can now have the luxury of permanent cosmetics and be confident once again. Lips Colour is perfect for re-shaping uneven lips and making lips look and appear larger and fuller. Lipstick colour gives that full lip look which will eliminate lipstick bleeding, and will cover discolouration or scars. Lip blush will give you a soft hint of colour without it being too obvious. Lip liner can create a more natural lip shape, and this can be as soft or dramatic as you require. Beauty spots A natural looking beauty mark can look stunning when placed on top of the cheek or lip area. Breast areola and nipple restoration Implanting colour to a damaged areola or scar tissue to restore the patient’s affected area creates a natural look which in turn helps the patient to have more confidence after surgery. Pigments are created to match the natural skin tones of the breast or the areola, and then implanted via state-of-the-art micro-pigmentation machines into the affected area. Scar tissue is coloured to blend into the surrounding area and areola damage can be re-shaped back to its former self.
