A motivational guru was once asked about the most important habit. He responded “being proactive.” He explained that being proactive was the one action that provides the foundation for all the other habits.

Tenerife - 09.05.2011 - The key to being proactive is remembering that between stimulus and response, there is a space. That space represents our choice and how we will choose to respond to any given situation, person, thought or event.




Resolution:

Let’s try to spend a few minutes pondering the importance of this habit. After all, being proactive means saying “I am responsible for me, and I can choose.” Let’s try for the next two weeks to refresh this “proactive mentality” every single morning; be proactive in whatever goals we set, whatever personal and or professional goals we want to achieve.
