Tenerife South Airport - 18.06.2008 - Initial findings of the inquiry ordered into the incident are believed to show that a colleague in the cockpit revved the engines to 90% power despite the fact that 24-year-old Miguel Angel Rodríguez was working near the forward undercarriage. The suction power of the engines is the equivalent of a 70mph wind and the mechanic was shredded to pieces immediately.
