 Daily news from the Canaries and the islands' biggest English language newspaper on-line Cyclist killed in Masca fall A British woman has been killed in a cycling accident in Tenerife. The incident occurred just before 11am yesterday a short distance from the village of Masca, on the picturesque road to Santiago del Teide. Tenerife - 05.02.2010 - The unnamed woman was in her late 30s but no other details have been released until relatives are informed. She was flown by helicopter to Adeje but died of heart failure before she reached hospital.
