- She spent nearly all she had on feeding her hungry companions, frequently stinting herself in the process and thousands of tourists had their photograph taken next to the colourfully attired Lolita especially the Scandinavians in the early days of tourism who loved her feline court.
In the year of the centenary of her birth, 70 works are on display by 64 Canarian artists inspired by her personality at the CICCA facilities until the 2nd of October.
