11.10.2004 - Just this weekend, one of these minuscule and over crowded rowing boats holding 37 people including a minor, was detected by the Guardia Civil along the Fuerteventura coastline, just three miles from Faro de Jandia.

In order to offer continuous training and information on the immigration phenomenon to lawyers, judges etc, the Canarian Government and the General Board of Judicial Power have signed an agreement o create a Immigration Studies Centre in the Canaries.
