05.01.2017 - The column of smoke which rose from the finca was easily visible in the area. A wooden house, which was annexed to the main house, burned brightly.  The extinguishing work concentrated on the burning wooden building, to prevent the flames from affecting the house.

After the fire had been successfully extinguished, the firefighters discovered the completely charred body of a woman.  First assumptions suggest that it could be a 47-year-old homeless person who might have sought shelter there.  Because of the condition of the corpse, her identity can only be clarified by a DNA check in the forensic laboratory where it will also be determined whether the woman was already dead before the fire broke out, or if she died in the fire.  In addition, an ongoing investigation should confirm whether or not a fire accelerator was involved.
