17.04.2017 - The boy had suffered serious cuts to several parts of his left leg, and throat, missing his jugular vein by only centimetres.  Due to the severity of his injuries, the emergency doctor ordered a helicopter which flew the boy to the hospital in Las Palmas.  For this purpose, the roundabout behind the Amadores beach was prepared by the fire brigade and the Local Police as a landing and take-off site for the helicopter.  The boy was fully conscious and was nervous about boarding the helicopter because he said he was afraid of heights.
