Woman drowned in Las Palmas
The body of a 60-year-old woman was pulled out of the sea at Playa de Los Nidillos and taken to Las Canteras in Gran Canaria on Sunday morning. She had been reported missing on Saturday evening. Another person was also pulled out of the sea last weekend. On Friday, a 66-year-old German died at La Tejita near El Médano, bringing the number of people drowned in the Canary Islands this year to 60.

12.09.2017 - This means that the Canary Islands, after Andalusia and Valencia, have the third highest number of people drowned on their coasts to date this year.
