Swim pair enter the Guinness Book of Records
Cristina Ibáñez and Alberto Moreno made an entry in the Guinness Book of Records on Thursday October 12. They were the first couple (man and woman) to swim from San Sebastián de La Gomera to La Caleta in Tenerife, and they did it without any neoprene suits or accessories. Their day began at 4.30am, and their arrival, which was expected at 6pm, was a little late. It was already dark when the two of them got out of the water in La Caleta to be met with a great applause from friends, families and neighbours. They were exhausted but happy.
