Attacked by a cat while driving
A woman experienced a horror story at the wheel last week. She was driving her mother's cat in a transporter to the animal shelter in Las Palmas at 11.15am. The animal had become aggressive and the owners could not handle it. On the motorway, at Santa Brígida, just before the Marzagán tunnel, the cat escaped from its transport case and attacked the driver.

11.11.2017 - Panicking, she stopped on the hard shoulder and ran from the car. Local Police officers noticed the vehicle and asked for the reason.  The driver explained what had happened to the officers.  They informed the owners of the animal shelter that they had been able to capture the cat and that they would bring it to the shelter. Fortunately, nobody was injured and no accident caused.
