Woman rescued by Local Police
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the Local Police in Tegueste, a resident of the Camino Llano del Pino was rescued. A neighbour had reported around 4.35pm on Monday that there was an intense smell of gas coming from the apartment. Only ten minutes later, the police arrived. After they too had convinced themselves of the clear smell of butane gas, they informed the fire brigade and emergency services.

05.12.2017 - With care, they entered the apartment. A woman lay unconscious on the floor and was taken outside. Around 5.40pm, the rescue service, fire brigade and Guardia Civil arrived. On her way to the university hospital HUC in La Laguna she woke up.  She was still a little dazed, but alive.  It is not yet known whether it was a suicide attempt or an accident.
