On Sunday afternoon, shortly after 2pm, a shuttle bus carrying passengers from an aircraft to the terminal collided with a tanker lorry at the Reina Sofia Airport in south Tenerife. Ten passengers were slightly injured. Eight were attended to by the airport's medical service. Two others were also only slightly injured but had to be taken to the nearest hospital, Hospiten Sur, in Playa de Las Américas.
11.12.2017 - The passengers concerned had just landed on a Jet2 aircraft from Glasgow. The incident did not impede flight operations.
