Robbery at Tenerife petrol station
A well-known petrol station on the Guaza bridge in the borough of Güímar was robbed on Monday morning. A masked man entered the petrol station at 5am, threatened the owner, who was on his own at the time, with a knife and demanded that he handed over the cash register. The man only managed to take €40 in notes and coins at that time of the morning. He also took a wallet and a Canarian knife.

10.01.2018 - An accomplice was waiting for the assailant in a black Golf GTI.  As they drove away, the owner of the adjoining café arrived and the robbers sounded their horn repeatedly and said they had to leave quickly.  As a result, they ended up fleeing in an unknown direction.  The police are searching for the suspected perpetrators and the getaway car.  The victim described the masked person as tall, speaking with a Canarian accent and a raspy voice.
