Extra buses and trams during Carnival
Santa Cruz Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez called on carnival-goers to use public transport to travel to Santa Cruz. The TITSA bus network has set up 14 additional bus routes at peak times to cope with the increase in traffic. The trams will run with double capacity and five taxi ranks have been set up around the festivities.

10.02.2018 - Using public transport will mean no parking problems, celebrating as you wish without risking your driving licence and, above all, the integrity of yourself and others, and yet flexibility - these are the arguments in favour of a carnival without your own car.  Over 300,000 carnival-goers used the tram last year to reach the carnival area. The special timetables are available at www.titsa.com and www.metrotenerife.com.
