Bogus kidnapping reports
A hoax is currently spreading through the social media and Whatsapp, warning of kidnappings in Castillo del Romeral in Gran Canaria. While there is actually a young boy missing in Almería and two missing women in Asturias, it is claimed that there is a kidnapping ring based in Gran Canaria. The police warn, "These messages are false and fictitious."
