11.03.2018 - The car had a German number plate.  On checking the car out, it turned out that it was reported stolen by a car rental company at the Reina Sofia airport and that the number plate came from a Mercedes GLK 220 CDI and had been stolen two days earlier from Adeje.  Curiously, the thief had replaced the stolen number plate with another which came from a Citroën Berlingo which had been stolen in Candelaria.  In addition, the investigation revealed that the thief stopped at the Guaza petrol station several times for petrol, and drove away without paying.
