Two drowned on Costa Adeje
The week began in Adeje with two people drowned. The first emergency call arrived at 1.24pm on Monday reporting that a 79-year-old Briton had been pulled out of a pool by bathers at a hotel in Calle Londres. A doctor who happened to be at the scene immediately started resuscitation, which was taken over by the emergency team shortly afterwards. Nevertheless, the man could not be brought back to life.
