Three million euro ONCE prize went to Las Palmas
Last Friday, María del Carmen Quevedo Rodríguez, a saleswoman for ONCE lottery tickets in the Las Arenas shopping centre in Las Palmas, was able to congratulate one of her lucky customers. He had bought a ticket for the ONCE Eurojackpot from her and won over €3.1 million. He missed the Superjackpot of €90 million by just one number, which will be played again next week. María del Carmen has only been selling the tickets for three years after she had to give up her job as a self-employed person due to a disability. "After the good fortune that I have a job again, this is the best thing that has happened to me in recent years. How wonderful!" she said happily.
