Missing refugee boat from Morocco
A refugee boat, which set sail from the south of Morocco on Sunday morning, is missing. Three Moroccans swam to Playa Aglou in the province of Tiznit, some 700 kilometres south of Rabat. They said that the boat had capsized with about 25 people on board. Although the missing persons were immediately searched for by boat and from the air, no trace of them has been found so far. It is very likely that the three are the only survivors. The waves were very high and turbulent on the Moroccan side over the weekend.
