Driver with no licence or insurance carrying drugs
Unipol police officers in Santa Cruz recently arrested a 44-year-old man who was driving a car that the police database listed as no longer insured. When they stopped the vehicle, the driver, G.M.M., initially presented a driving licence, which was apparently not his own. When the man was searched, his identity documents were found, which allowed the officers to determine that the suspect's driving licence had expired on December 11 and had not been renewed. Alarmed, the police requested help from colleagues with drug-sniffing dogs.
