Female Guardia Civil officer cared for a baby in an emergency

A female Guardia Civil Traffic Division officer from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria recently undertook a rather unusual operation on the motorway. First, a vehicle was reported parked on the hard shoulder of the GC-3, on the southbound carriageway. The driver was suffering the possible effects of a heart attack and his partner was very concerned. The holidaymaker was so nervous that a Guardia Civil officer bottle-fed the baby for her. An ambulance took the man to the Hospital Insular, while a Guardia Civil officer took the wheel of the car and followed with the wife and child. Now the whole family is well again and they have already returned home. Even for the officers this mission was very unusual and they shared it through their social networks.
