|The election campaigns for the lower and upper houses of Spanish national government, the Congress of Deputies and the Senate, are starting to gather momentum, but does it really matter here in the Islands? I am socialist and believe in this party, because they are the only ones who are still concerned about the poorer people. If the right wing wins everything will be worse. To me they are the same fascists as there were during the Franco regime, but pretending to be democrats. Rajoy and his friends are not only right but ultra-right orientated. On the other hand, we are 1,500 kilometres away from Spain and therefore there won’t be quick changes here on the island.
