Rupture in Puerto politics

As reported elsewhere in this newspaper, the ruling coalition between the socialist PSOE and the conservative PP in Puerto de la Cruz has split, but will it actually make any difference to the day to day lives of residents in the northern town?

If the alliance did not work, it is better to give it up and try something else. I think they should also consider that life has become very expensive, especially for families. They should create leisure opportunities for local people, which everyone can afford and they should also maintain the ambience of the old town.
